Lina lives in San Francisco and works in tech recruiting in Silicon Valley. She holds a B.S. in Managerial Economics from UC Davis. When she’s not recording or working, you’ll probably find her at the beach or a local park with friends, reading a romance novel, sipping on matcha, or deep in a reality TV binge.

Lina started podcasting about trivia in May 2024 with her debut podcast, Learned In Trivia. Her love for trivia began at a bar in San Francisco, where she was randomly paired with a team—and won trivia night (for the first and last time). That unexpected win sparked a passion for collecting fun facts and figuring out the why behind the trivia.

Since then, she's been on a mission to make learning feel like fun again. After all, if she’s already doing the deep dives and falling down internet rabbit holes, why not share what she finds with anyone willing to listen? In May 2025 she rebranded the podcast as the main host, and the show is now known as Trivia Tangents.
